Gift Shop

The Tapeley gift shop is where visitors buy tickets upon arrival. In addition to daily admission fees (£8.50 adults/£6.50 senior citizens/£6.50 children/under 5’s free). A family ticket (2 adults, up to 3 children is £22.00) and the Friends of Tapeley season ticket allows unlimited entry all season for just £30.00 (adult) or £13 (child).  The gift shop offers a range of maps, postcards and guide books for the gardens.

In keeping with the Tapeley Park ethos of supporting the local community, the gift shop also sells a selection of gifts, locally made jams and chutneys.  The gift shop is also the first port of call for those wishing to arrange a tour of the house. Tours are subject to Hector’s availability and must be pre-booked (currently unavailable).

Tea Rooms

The Tapeley Tea Rooms – garden admission applies to use this facility

The Tapeley Tea rooms offer a selection of drinks and homemade snacks (including cream teas, Devon style of course – cream first, then jam!). Tea room ingredients are sourced from the Tapeley gardens and local suppliers where possible.

Savoury snacks and menu items featuring organic Tapeley salad, vegetables, fruits and berries from the polytunnels, kitchen garden and permaculture garden (reinforced with fresh ingredients from local and quality suppliers). There are also plenty of options for speciality diets (vegan, gluten free etc).

Drinks offered include loose leaf British teas from Suki, herbal teas including fennel and mint from Tapeley, speciality coffee from Bude based Sabins and still and fizzy drinks from Devon’s own Heron Valley.
